ThisIsWhyImBroke.com: The Internet's Mall

Have you ever found yourself needing a flying car, your own personal jetpack, or how about a 100% carbon fiber bathtub? If you have, and you also have the tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars to buy this kind of stuff, then you need to visit the website ThisIsWhyImBroke.com! On their website, they have things that you can purchase that range from a mere $.99, such as their “Walk while you text” app, all the way up to a $5,000,000.00 Private Florida Island that you can buy. This site literally has any type of collectable, novelty item, and basically stuff to just flaunt how much money you have to spend. Stuff like a replica DeLorean, Muhammad Ali’s Boxing Gloves, and even a Life Size LEGO Star Wars X-Wing.
The one thing about this website though, is that once you buy one thing, you’re bound to buy more and more! They always lure you in by giving every product an eye catching name along with a super cool picture of the product. They always describe the product in such a way that it makes it seem stupid to not buy the product! I think the way that they advertise these products makes them one of the best online!

It kind of gives you something to strive for. Kind of… You see all of these amazing things that you want, but they cost sooo much money. It makes me think about what I would buy if I had that much money! All of this dreaming combined with how long you stay on the site is going to end with you clicking on one of the products. Once you do that, it takes you to the sellers Website, and that is how this website makes their money. It is an extremely smart and innovative idea!

Here is a link to the website for those of you who want to see what all they have!

  1. I checked out the website and I was hooked on everything. I wanted a lot of things. I really wanted that island private island and I wanted a batmobile to cruise around in too. Your right though once I was on the site I saw one thing I clicked it and then I saw another thing and I clicked on that. They have eye catching products and really exciting pictures to go along with them as well.

Even though I may not even remotely be within the price range of buying my own personal aircraft or my own replica of the space shuttle orbiter the website makes you feel as though you can be able to look and entertain the fact that it is or will be a possibility that you can one day own such awesome stuff as this one day. Thanks for introducing me to this, I did enjoy going clicking on it and I’ll check it out again in soon too

  2. Wow! I checked out the website and I agree it is addicting and there are lots of things that I would want if I had an unlimited supply of money. Though my main questionable thought was, "who would buy this stuff?" I tried to justify the pricing on the things that just didn't completely seem odd, I just couldn't. Maybe its the conservative side of me or just that I was just intrigued by the concept. The website I must say did catch my eye. The photos of the items and the detailed descriptions of them continued to keep me enticed and interested. It is a true form of entertaining advertising and is one that will make me want to search through again.
